Sharing our stories and bearing witness to others' stories helps us more deeply connect with other people, feel less alone, see new perspectives, and build community. As we work to connect with ourselves and each other around issues of unemployment, underemployment, and economic uncertainty, many of us are seeking ways to have these conversations and share our experiences beyond the virtual world.

The Institute for Career Transitions and The Perpetual Visitors Theatre Company invite you to join us for an in-person story circle event (in Woburn) to share and listen to stories of unexpected connection. Story circles have long been a tool for communities to come together — a place where there is no audience, but where everyone offers a personal story based on a prompt, while the rest of the circle listens. After everyone has shared a story, participants comment on the strengths and power they see in others’ stories and draw connections between others’ stories and their own.

Register by August 4 at 5 pm.
