For job seekers over 50, it’s good to know that businesses are hiring. But it’s even better to know that many want to hire people with experience. Wondering who these age-friendly employers are and how to find them?
Join us for this opportunity to meet four age-friendly employers and learn why they hire workers over 50, what kinds of jobs they are filling and how the hiring process works. We’ll also help you find other employers who view age and experience as assets. And you will have a chance to ask questions and to hear the answers directly from the employers on the panel.
You'll also learn about the AARP Employer Pledge program and the Certified Age Friendly Employer (CAFE) program. These initiatives generate lists to help job seekers connect with age-friendly employers.
Moderated by Alice Bonner, former Secretary of the
Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and member of
the Age Friendly Foundation board, which runs the CAFE program.
