There has been a big increase in fraudulent job postings and income scams. Learn tips for spotting scams and how to protect your identity during your job search. In addition, we’ll take a look at AARP’s fraud fighting resources on the Fraud Watch Network as well as AARP’s job search resources for people over 50.

Alice Diamond recently retired from her position as Associate Dean for Career and Community Service at Lesley University in Cambridge. She is currently a career coach in private practice. During her time overseeing the career center at Lesley, she encountered many fraudulent job postings, and is passionate about helping job seekers avoid being scammed. Alice is a volunteer for the AARP Fraud Watch Network Helpline and serves as a site visit volunteer with the Cummings Foundation. Alice has four decades of experience in career development.

Dennis Hohengassser has been a volunteer with AARP Massachusetts for over six years. He has conducted dozens of Fraud Watch Network presentations across the state. Having been a victim himself, he understands how easy it is to fall for scams and fraud.
